2019 WYOMING STATEWIDE SUMMER CLASSES
We include all materials. Your child just needs to come dressed for adventure* with snack, lunch, water bottle, hat and sunscreen.
*Students need to dress appropriately for outdoor activities: clothing that can get a bit dirty, footwear that can get wet and an extra layer for changes in the weather. No flip-flops please!
BUFFALO - AGES 6-9NATURE’S PLAYGROUND: July 24th and 25th
Time: 8:00am -1:00pm Cost: FREE – Space is limited Nature is everywhere, we just need to know where to look. We’ll be exploring the woods, meadows, and streams around Buffalo to discover all the amazing things that happen all the time outside. Learn how to use your eyes, ears, nose, and sense of touch to experience the world like never before. By the end of the class, you’ll be a real naturalist, and will learn to see everything, even your backyard, in a new way.Pick up/drop off for this class will be at Sheridan College at Bomber Mountain Civic Center. Learn about gears, levers, and pulleys and bearings to make life easier and faster – all using fun and scientific experiments. Unlock the mysteries of gravity, buoyancy and air pressure. This fun class will include an INSIDE tour of the Buffalo Bill Dam where you will see all of the mysteries of physics at work! Lead Instructors: Charlie Yates and Molly Potas.
